Lisburn
The City of Lisburn is located just eight miles from Belfast.
Learn about the city on a self guided trail through the Historic
Quarter, tour the 18th century Hillsborough Castle and its rose
garden or journey to medieval times at Hillsborough Fort.
Alternatively, experience the ancient art of brewing at Hilden
Brewery. Spend the day browsing for antiques and crafts in
Lisburn’s various shops and then “Sup” a pint in a traditional
pub.

Brookhall Historical Farm
Delightful open
farm with young animals and colourful garden surroundings, a 12th
century church, fishing lake and tea-rooms.

celebrates Ulster’s link with New Zealand.

Lunch in Hillsborough
Head for one of the
four heritage bar restaurants, reputed for their excellent food and
wine. Then enjoy a walk around the Georgian village.

Hillsborough Courthouse and Hillsborough
Castle
Visit the former 18th century Georgian Market House and
Hillsborough Castle. The elegant mansion is one of Ireland’s most
graceful houses and home to the Northern Ireland Secretary of
State.

traditional brewery in the courtyard of a former linen baron’s
mansion.
