Irish Crafts

Northern Ireland is known throughout the world for the quality
of its unique goods, including delicate china, elegant linens and
intricate lace.
The white lustre of Belleek porcelain has inspired collectors
from 1857 and the same meticulous techniques are used today by the
craftsmen in Belleek Pottery.
Northern Ireland is famed for producing high quality linen and
the legacy of this celebrated industry lives on. Linen products are
available to buy in many stores and are often a popular gift for
friends and family back home.
Other unique souvenirs from the area include a range of gifts
hand-crafted from 5,000-year-old Irish turf from some of Ireland’s
oldest boglands. Ornaments, clocks, Celtic crosses, picture frames
and jewellery are among the keepsakes intricately fashioned into
ancient Celtic designs with a distinctive antique brown finish.
This tour includes shopping “musts” at Belleek Pottery, the
Linen Green and Island Turf.
