C.S. Lewis’ grandfather.

Dundela
Visit the Blue Plaque which now commemorates the birthplace of C.S.
Lewis.
9.45am
Little Lea
View the exterior of Little Lea, the Lewis family home until 1930
where his first stories were written.
10am
Campbell College
Pass by the school which
C.S. Lewis attended.
10.15am
St. Mark’s Church
See the stained glass window in the church where C.S. Lewis was
baptised and confirmed. Donated by the Lewis brothers in memory of
their parents.
10.45am
Belmont Tower
Enjoy a leisurely coffee and explore the small C.S. Lewis
exhibition in this Victorian building.
11.30am
“The Searcher” C.S. Lewis statue
Follow Digory Kirke from ‘The Magician’s Nephew,’ through the
wardrobe. The C.S. Lewis centenary sculpture by Northern Irish
artist Ross Wilson was modelled on C.S. Lewis as he was in
1919.

Linen Hall Library
Belfast’s oldest library is home to a unique collection of books
written by and dedicated to C.S. Lewis.

Queen’s University Belfast
Visit Queen’s University where C.S. Lewis’ mother studied.

When Lewis was 16, the image of a faun carrying parcels and an
umbrella in a snowy wood came to him. Many years later, the faun
was joined by an evil witch and a magnificent lion --- this image
and the three character's stories became The Lion, The Witch and
the Wardrobe.
